Hi I'm Sophie!

I'm a 22 year old vegetarian girl aspiring to make life better for those who need it. I have studied counselling psychology over the past few years hoping that someday in the future I can change peoples lives. I also adore the coast, it is my favourite place on Earth to be whether it's raining or sunny the sea waves simply put my mind at rest whilst i watch with admiration. Throughout this blog I hope to entertain and inspire, whilst mostly it will be aimed at beautiful locations I will also be posting lifestyle and student related posts.

Over the past few years I have taken part or organised several fundraising events for various charities. For example in April 2012 I decided to shave my hair off for Cancer Research UK. My next aim is to trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, Peru. Hopefully I will be able to raise enough to get there and then some for my Father who had this dream originally.

The festive season is upon us once again and it is that time of year when Birmingham have their German market. I know it isn't even December yet and recognise that Christmas associations should not be around until the 1st of December but I still have attended something Christmas related oops (total Scrooge here but hey ho). The German market is an absolutely brilliant way to get into the Christmas spirit because it has so much German festivity, like bright lights and hot chocolate (not forgetting the very strong German beer! omnomnom). Newton Faulkner

In 2010 I was introduced to a new song by someone I had never heard of before and I fell in love with the music. That song was Dream Catch Me by Newton Faulkner. I started listening to more songs by this artist and I just felt at home with some of the songs I heard, they were super catchy. I used to listen to them on my MP3 player whilst walking around the canals and through the countryside on many summer evenings. Now, 7 years later I have seen this guy perform in person and it was incredible. There's nothing more satisfying and heart warming that going to see someone who has been in some of your fondest memories. It was like reliving my youth again, when I say my youth I just mean my teenage years. The tickets were a birthday present for my 22nd birthday this year from my wonderful fiance, Kee, who I have mentioned on here several times before. It was one of the best birthday presents I have ever had because memories will last a lot longer than a bottle of wine.

Games I'm digging lately.

It's been a while, I'm sure I always say this (or at least think this) every time I post a new post. Although I'll be honest I haven't really had much time spare these days since starting my new job. With all the travelling to and from work I'm out the house for just under 12 hours each day, then come the weekend I just want to fall asleep all day. I have been keeping myself busy (awake) by alternating between different games that I am into at the moment. I thought I'd share some of these games with you in this post, enjoy! Destiny 2- crimson days . I haven’t really been playing destiny recently due to the fact I find the second one not so enticing. I absolutely adored first time playing destiny one but then a few months before destiny 2 was due to be released it got a bit repetitive and there was barely anything new to do.
