Weston-Super-Mare

This week was most certainly one of my favourite, most memorable week that I have had so far. Weston-Super-Mare is home to two of the many piers located around the UK, however Weston is known for the Grand Pier that burnt down in 2008 which was then rebuilt and reopened to the Grand Pier that is very popular today. Weston-Super-Mare also has the Birnbeck Pier which has been closed down for many years due to it's unstable condition. When I first saw the Birnbeck Pier it slightly frightened me due to it's morbid appearance, but on a second viewing I found the Pier to be some what beautiful in an old and damaged way.

I've never really taken an interest in churches before either, however the Old Church of St.Nicholas, in Uphill offered the most magnificent view all down along the beach to the other end of Weston. We chose a good day to go to visit the church which made it look even more beautiful as it already was and I still cannot get over how amazing the view was from up high.

Going around Weston-Super-Mare it was clear it was a place for school children, families and elderly couples, kind of not really somewhere young students would consider a holiday. However, it was relaxing and such a beautiful place I couldn't of asked for a better place with awesome company.

The festive season is upon us once again and it is that time of year when Birmingham have their German market. I know it isn't even December yet and recognise that Christmas associations should not be around until the 1st of December but I still have attended something Christmas related oops (total Scrooge here but hey ho). The German market is an absolutely brilliant way to get into the Christmas spirit because it has so much German festivity, like bright lights and hot chocolate (not forgetting the very strong German beer! omnomnom). Newton Faulkner

In 2010 I was introduced to a new song by someone I had never heard of before and I fell in love with the music. That song was Dream Catch Me by Newton Faulkner. I started listening to more songs by this artist and I just felt at home with some of the songs I heard, they were super catchy. I used to listen to them on my MP3 player whilst walking around the canals and through the countryside on many summer evenings. Now, 7 years later I have seen this guy perform in person and it was incredible. There's nothing more satisfying and heart warming that going to see someone who has been in some of your fondest memories. It was like reliving my youth again, when I say my youth I just mean my teenage years. The tickets were a birthday present for my 22nd birthday this year from my wonderful fiance, Kee, who I have mentioned on here several times before. It was one of the best birthday presents I have ever had because memories will last a lot longer than a bottle of wine.

Games I'm digging lately.

It's been a while, I'm sure I always say this (or at least think this) every time I post a new post. Although I'll be honest I haven't really had much time spare these days since starting my new job. With all the travelling to and from work I'm out the house for just under 12 hours each day, then come the weekend I just want to fall asleep all day. I have been keeping myself busy (awake) by alternating between different games that I am into at the moment. I thought I'd share some of these games with you in this post, enjoy! Destiny 2- crimson days . I haven’t really been playing destiny recently due to the fact I find the second one not so enticing. I absolutely adored first time playing destiny one but then a few months before destiny 2 was due to be released it got a bit repetitive and there was barely anything new to do.
